There is another side of Africa apart from Wildlife safaris….that is people and lifestyle. This itinerary will give you the taste of both, the big five and mysterious ways of living that are found in Africa. The Hadza and Datoga is just sample from many other mysterious African lifestyles.

This wildlife safari and culture will allow you to sight see and understand the hospitality of African people at closer perspective.


Itinerary Day By Day

Arrival Day:
You will be met at the airport by your driver-guide and our office representative. After a short welcome and introduction, you will be offered a bottle of water then transfer for the 1hr drive to Arusha City for dinner and overnight at the hotel
Day 1: Arusha To Tarangire
The tour starts with breakfast in Arusha town at 0730hrs. 0830hrs, drive to Tarangire National Park. Enjoy the full day game drive in Tarangire National Park. Dinner and overnight at selected accommodation
Day 2: Manyara National Park
After breakfast drive to Lake Manyara. Picnic lunch will be served at the picnic site, afterward continue with the game drive in the park with epic sights of hippos, monkeys, tree-climbing lions, flamingos and other varieties of birdlife. Dinner and overnight at selected accommodation
Day 3: Lake Eyasi Cultural Tour
Collect picnic lunches and drive to Lake Eyasi, which is a mildly alkaline lake about 50km in length. The fields along the shores of the lake are home to hippos, various monkeys, leopards, and birds. Lake Eyasi compromises of excellent views of the Rift Valley escarpment and is an ideal destination for bird-watching and relaxing. Dinner and overnight at the selected accommodation
Day 4: Visit Datoga And Hadzabe Tribe
Depart for some Cultural visits in the area. You will pay an official visit the Datoga pastoralists and members of the Hadzabe tribe. The Hadzabe are one of two enduring hunter-gatherer tribes in Tanzania. There are roughly 1500 families left in this tribe. Lunch will be served at the camp. Late in the afternoon, drive to Karatu. Dinner and overnight at the selected accommodation
Day 5: Karatu To Serengeti
Depart for Serengeti National Park with picnic lunches. Relish an afternoon game drive in these endless plains of the Serengeti. Great herds of zebras, gazelles, and wildebeest, or a pride of lions lazing in the shade. Dinner and overnight
Day 6: Full Day Serengeti
Spend A full days of game viewing in the Serengeti National Park. Meals and overnight at the selected camp/lodge
Day 7: Serengeti To Ngorongoro/visit Masai Village
Driver to Ngorongoro Conservation Area via Olduvai Gorge, the site of Louis and Mary Leakey’s renowned archaeological discoveries. Their findings include some of the man’s earliest known ancestral remains. Proceed driving to Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Lunch at a picnic site. Visit the Masai village and wonder at their mysterious lifestyle. Evening at leisure.Dinner and overnight
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater
Today you will descend 2000 feet (over 600 meters) to the floor of the crater for a day tour. Sightsee the forest inhabited by elephants and monkeys, the lake area, where are most likely to see the flamingos and the open grassland where the lions hunt for food. Picnic lunches will be served in the crater. Late afternoon drive back to Arusha.
Departure Day
Today at leisure, you depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight back home or to any other planned destinations.
