Kilimanjaro Trek, Wildlife Safari and Zanzibar

This tour is the ultimate African Adventure experience it will take you to the Highest point above the sea level in Africa, to the plains of African wilderness, to the mysterious Hadza tribe in Lake Eyasi and finally you will have a chance to wash off the dusts of Kilimanjaro and wildlife safari by taking the dip into the Indian Ocean, relax and catch up with these experiences in the white sandy beaches of Zanzibar before catching a flight back home.

Itinerary Day By Day

Arrive in Arusha/Moshi
After your arrival in Arusha airport or Kilimanjaro international airport, we will meet you and transfer you to the hotel (BB) for the overnight. At the hotel, you will meet your guide for briefing about the trek and will checklist your mountain gears too
Day 1: Leave your hotel to Machame gate then Machame Camp
After the morning breakfast you will meet the guide and the crew members, you may ask your driver to stop by the shop if you want to buy snacks to take with you on the mountain. Then proceed to Machame gate, accomplish the registration process and start your hike around midday. You will pass through the magnificent rain forest where you may spot a number of monkeys and wild birds. Arrive at the Machame camp in time for dinner and Overnight.

Day 2: Leave Machame Camp Hike to Shira Camp
Leaving Machame camp you will cross the streams of its west bank and lead to the rocky elevation in a number of times before finally arriving in Shira Camp for dinner and Overnight.

Day 3: Leave Shira camp Hike to Barranco Wall
Leave Shira Camp after energizing breakfast proceed ahead in the direction of Barranco wall passing the lava tower and finally arrive at the Barranco Camp by the great Barranco Wall. for dinner and Overnight. The View on this point is very rewarding.

Day 4: Leave Barranco Camp hike To Karanga Valley
After the breakfast, you will leave the camp through the edge of the great Barranco Wall. A tough morning it will be, but once you reach the Karanga valley for dinner and Overnight you will be rewarded by even magnificent view.

Day 5: Leave Karanga valley hike to Barafu Bamp
This is the shortest day of your Trek, you will leave Karanga valley and follow the path to Barafu camp Where you will arrive in the early afternoon. Allowing you the rest of the day to acclimatize. You will have an early dinner and night so that you will have enough rest to gather the energy for the midnight climb.

Day 6: Leave Barafu camp Hike to Uhuru Peak the descend to Mweka Camp
The hike begins around midnight since the walk today is very challenging and it can take you 9-14 hrs to reach Uhuru peak and down the base camp again and to Mweka Camp. You will enjoy the sunrise down the great rift valley on the way to Uhuru peak. After reaching Uhuru enjoy the moment take some picture and start descending immediately afterward. You will have your hot Lunch at the base camp and then continue the descend to Mweka camp where you will arrive late afternoon for dinner and Overnight

  • Hiking Distance: 5k /3miles up Uhuru, 13km/8miles down to Mweka camp

Day 7: leave Mweka Camp To Mweka gate
This is the 3 to 4 hours hike after the breakfast, arrive at Mweka gate late morning, The Torch Adventures Drivers will pick you and your crew and transfer you back to the hotel.

Day 8: Arusha To Tarangire National Park
Leave the hotel with packed lunches and drive towards Tarangire National Park, Tanzania’s third largest national park and sanctuary for an unusually large elephant population. Majestic baobab trees are an interesting feature of the park, dwarfing the animals that feed beneath them. Animals concentrate along the Tarangire River, which provides the only permanent water supply in the area. There is a great diversity of wildlife including lion, leopard, and cheetah and up to six thousand elephants. Lunch boxes will be provided to you at the picnic point. After the game drive, head for dinner and overnight in Karatu Selected hotel
Day 9: Ngorongoro Crater Tour-Back to Arusha
After breakfast descends into the crater Floor for a wonderful game drive (with a picnic lunch). Ngorongoro Crater often described as one of the world’s wonder. It is the world’s largest intact volcanic caldera and a natural sanctuary for some of Africa’s densest animal populations. It is one of the few places where the rare black rhino can be observed in their natural setting. As very few animals migrate in and out of the crater with its 2000 ft. high walls, you can expect to see lions, elephants, zebras, hippos, flamingos, jackals, rhinos, antelopes, many birds, and other species. With a bit of luck, the ‘Big Five’ can be spotted during one game drive only. Then late afternoon drive back for dinner  overnight at the hotel (BB)
Day 10: Lake Manyara NP then back to Arusha
After breakfast, we depart for Lake Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. You can see many game animals such as Buffalo, Elephant, Giraffe, Impala, hippo, and others. After spending most of the day in the car you might enjoy a leisurely stroll along Kirurumu River which has to be crossed on large rocks a couple of times. Lunch boxes will be provided t you before embarking to Arusha for overnight at the hotel
Day 11: Flight to Zanzibar
After Breakfast, stay at leisure, late Morning transfer to the Seronera airstrip where you will take your 11:00 pm flight to Zanzibar. After arriving in Zanzibar our representative will pick you up from the airport and transfer you to the Beach Hotel for the check-in, and there afterward you will decide what to do for the rest of the day.
Day 12-14: Beach Relaxation
You will spend this day by the beach relaxing or you may ask professional safari Africa representative or the hotel to arrange a stone town tour for you on extra cost beach sports too are arranged at extra cost, you may arrange to do dolphin tour as well as diving and snorkeling . Dinner and Overnight at the Beach Hotel
Departure Day
Today at leisure, you depending on your flight schedule, you will be transferred back to the airport for your flight back home or to any other planned destinations.
